‘I Am Cait’: Caitlyn Jenner & Kris Jenner Meet For First Time In One Year

Caitlyn Jenner and Kris Jenner finally meet for the first time on the Sept. 6 episode of ‘I Am Cait,’ and Caitlyn is excited because she has a lot she wants to tell Kris but will it go over well?

Kris Jenner, 59, and Caitlyn Jenner, 65, are finally meeting face-to-face. Caitlyn calls Kris and invites her over to her new house and it turns out they haven’t seen each other in over one year and Caitlyn thinks it’s time they “get on the same page” for their children, Kylie Jenner and Kendall Jenner‘s sake.

“To be honest with you it makes me sad,” Caitlyn says of Kris not attending the ESPYs. “Kris and I really have not talked … haven’t spent any time together in the past year. I don’t think I’ve been ready for the big Kris meeting and talk — that’ll be a tough day.” Then Cait decides to reach out to Kris and she agrees to come over. The moment she shows up, she hands Cait a box of cookies and compliments her shoes. It seems to be off to a great start but the tears are definitely coming.

Here’s what we do know, even though the episode cut to black the moment Kris arrived, we know Kris tells Caitlyn this: “You’re sensitive and amazing to all these new people in your life but you’re just not sensitive and amazing to the family you left behind. When you feel like you gave your whole life to somebody. And the sum of it all was you were a distraction.”

In a recent preview Cait responded to Kris and defended their marriage, her transition and the Vanity Fair article: “I try to do what I can. Be nice, reach out. You have to see it from my perspective. Be an ally when it comes to dealing with the kids. Don’t go there. This is not the issue. I was defending myself. It was a distraction from who I was. It doesn’t mean I didn’t love you or the kids.”
