Ronaldinho's contribution On Messi, Neymar and Iniesta's Development


Barcelona FC legend Ronaldinho Gaucho spoke exclusively to his former club’s official website and describe his feeling about the development of Messi, Iniesta and Ballon D’or prospects for Neymar. 


With Barcelona, he won La Liga twice, the UEFA Champions League in 2006 and named FIFA World Player of the Year in 2004 and 2005 and the Ballon d’Or winner in 2005.

                                                                     On Messi


Ronaldinho said:  “My fondest memory with him was his first-ever goal. It’s nice to know that I provided the pass. It was a very special moment for me.”

He added: “It’s really nice to see how he’s grown.”

Ronaldinho won two FIFA world player of the year awards during his time at Barca between 2004 and 2009 while Lionel Messi has won four Ballon D’or awards.


                                                                      On Neymar


The former Brazil international said: “[Neymar] could become the greatest player in the world. He’s phenomenal. It’s a joy to see another Brazilian making history.”

Ronaldinho was the poster boy for the Brazil national team between 2004 and 2008 while Neymar Jnr has taken over that mantle. He scored 33 goals in 99 appearances while Neymar has 46 goals in 67 appearnces.

                                                                   On Iniesta


The former PSG and AC Milan attacker said of the Spanish midfielder:  “When I see him play these days, he reminds me of Xavi.”

Ronaldinho and Iniesta won  two Copa Del Rey titles and the UEFA Champions League together at Barcelona.
