Eagles’ camp bubbles with Troost-Ekong and Echiejile’s arrival

The defenders have arrived the Super Eagles’ Verviers Hotel in Belgium ahead of this week’s international friendlies.

Nigeria national team camp is beginning to bubble ahead of preparations for this week’s friendly games against DR Congo and Cameroon.

AS Monaco’s Elderson Echiejile and Haugesund’s William Troost-Ekong are the latest arrivals to increase the number of Eagles’ foreign based professionals in camp to four. Chelsea’s John Obi Mikel and Watford’s Odion Ighalo arrived Eagles camp on Sunday.

Echiejile was not listed by manager Leonardo Jardim as his French based outfit struggled to a 1-1 draw at home to Rennes, while Troost-Ekong was on from start to finish as his team bowed 2-1 at home to Odd Ballklub in Norway’s Tippeligaen.

More players are expected to team up with Sunday Oliseh’s men before Monday night.
