Alberto Del Rio, 38, is BACK! The WWE fighter, who was fired in 2014 for an altercation with a WWE employee, returned to the WWE ring for the Hell In A Cell event on Oct. 25. He fought John Cena, 38, and beat the renowned fighter in a fight everyone will remember forever.
When Zeb Colter announced that Alberto was returning, the crowd roared with applause. Alberto and John engaged in a crazy fight for the ages. John challenged Alberto, and he happily accepted. Unfortunately for John, Alberto ended up beating him!
Alberto finished him off with a brutal kick to the face. To make matters worse for John, that means Alberto is now the winner of the United States Championship. Sorry, Cenation. We have a feeling this is not the last time these two meet in the ring.
Alberto was fired from the WWE “due to unprofessional conduct and an altercation with an employee” back in Aug. 2014. Yikes! But he’s back now!
It was a huge night overall for WWE. Brock Lesnar and The Undertaker faced off in battle that ended in bloodshed. It was so vicious they even tore the floor of the ring. Brock eventually ended things by taking down The Undertaker by pinfall.
Now that Alberto is back, it’s going to be a fun and interesting ride in the WWE! We can’t wait to see what’s next for Alberto!
