The France international adjusted his body superbly to meet Mesut Ozil's cross and send a scissors kick into the far corner at Selhurst Park.

Giroud's goal was a comfortable winner with 57 per cent of the votes, with Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain's Community Shield winner in second place.
