‘Hats Off For A Solid Effort': Drake Slams Meek Mill On New Mixtape.

Did you really think Drake would release a whole mixtape without taking a dig at Meek Mill?! From the moment the rapper and Future’s album ‘What A Great Time To Be Alive’ was streamed online, fans began buzzing that one track featured some MAJOR disses toward Nicki Minaj’s man.

It doesn’t look like Meek Mill, 28, made it out unscathed on Drake’s new mixtape! Fans are buzzing that the rapper totally throws shade at Nicki Minaj’s fiancé on the song “30 For 30 Freestyle,” in which he sarcastically sings about someone making a ‘good effort’ in a fight and even mentions ghostwriters.

“30 For 30 Freestyle” is the final track on Drake’s new mixtape with Future, and fans are going crazy over the alleged disses toward Meek. Weeks after their highly-publicized feud, the 28-year-old raps, “I say hats off for a solid effort/but we didn’t flinch for a second/we got our s–t together/ yeah, not here to fight wars.” Is he saying that Meek’s effort was commendable, but wasn’t quite enough to win the war?!

In another verse, Drake sings, “Then pen is working if you n—as need some ghost lines,” which is interesting, because the whole feud started when Meek called his now-nemesis out for using a ghostwriter! Take a listen to the song — which is the second Drake has released with little to no promotion — and see if you can find any more disses toward Meek.
