Majek Fashek Returns to School

As part of supporting his journey towards further stability, former troubled musician Majek Fashek has been offered a scholarship to get some training at the New Horizon Computer Learning Centre, Lagos.

Hopefully this helps put the musician in a solid path to total recovery as he integrates more with society.

Speaking to Hip TV recently, the entertainer expressed delight in the offer for him to return to school even as he expressed intentions to maximize the opportunity.

He said:

“My testimony is that Jesus Christ is Lord, Jesus Christ is the Master, you know before I went to Abuja for my rehab, Baba Oladiyun here came to my rescue, most church won’t do that.

“May God bless him and keep this ministry, materials and spiritual are two different thing, because Jesus Christ cannot come from Heaven to heal you. This Baba is a ‘correct prophet’.”

JUST IN : APC endorses Buhari for 2019 second term

– President Muhammadu Buhari has been endorsed for a second term in office

– Members of the All Progressives Congress (APC) caucus endorsed Buhari at a meeting held on Tuesday night

– A source privy to the situation in the party revealed why the caucus made the endorsement before 2019 presidential election.

The ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) members of the national caucus on March 23, revealed their candidate for the 2019 presidential election.

Vanguard reports that the national caucus comprising serving and former governors, the National Assembly leadership, and selected members of the national executive of the party at a meeting held on Tuesday night endorsed President Muhammadu Buhari to run for a second term in office.

According to them, the endorsement of Buhari for a second term would help to stabilise the polity considering the 16-year rot inherited from Peoples Democratic Party (PDP). The caucus at the meeting constituted a committee to resolve all pending issues in the party among other pressing issues agreed on.

It was gathered that the caucus agreed that President Buhari should be allowed to seek a second term, though some of the caucus members also noted that it was too early to kick start a second term campaign for the president.

It was further learnt that the matter was brought to the fore in a bid to curb restiveness among some party leaders, who have been split over their 2019 political ambition.

The development is attributed to the problems that led to the crisis in the National Assembly and also the inability of the party to inaugurate its board of trustees (BoT) till date. A source privy to the situation in the party said: “With Buhari contesting in 2019, those who have been squabbling will now have to queue up behind him and put the interest of the party ahead.”

In a related development, senators elected on the platform of the party on Tuesday night also decided to work together.

In a meeting held in Abuja, the senators vowed to unify themselves in order not to misplace their influence to the more united PDP caucus in the house. However, the national chairman of the party, chief John Odigie-Oyegun, who spoke with journalists at the end of the meeting, clarified that there was no threat against his position. He dismissed reports of pressure on him to resign his office, saying: “I am not aware that my office is under threat.

I led the party to the State House. It amazes me, occasionally it annoys me. That is one of the things you have to endure when you are in a position like mine.” The national chairman confirmed that a committee was set up to resolve all the crises in the party. He urged Nigerians to give the party time to deliver, assuring them that the administration would pick up after the 2016 budget is passed.

As part of efforts to avoid fissures and internal feuds in the party, the president has ordered the worth-west governors and leaders to reunite Governor Abdullahi Umar Ganduje and his predecessor, Senator Rabiu Kwankwaso.

Meanwhile, as the party is busy settling personal issues and internal disputes as well as preparing for 2019 presidential election, the country’s major opposition party, the Peoples Democratic Party has asked President Buhari to constitute a panel that will investigate the violence that characterised the Rivers state rerun parliamentary election.

SWAN urges Eagles to defeat Pharaohs In The Up Coming AFCON Qualifier Game In Kaduna

The Sports Writers Association of Nigeria (SWAN), Enugu Chapter, has urged the Super Eagles to defeat the Pharaohs of Egypt in Kaduna order to lead the group.

The Pharaohs of Egypt currently top the Group G with six points, as against four by the Eagles.

Norbert Okolie, the Chairman of the Enugu chapter of SWAN said that they should not lose concentration during the game, until the final whistle.

He suggested that they should approach the match with determination and professionalism stressing that the Egyptians were `hungry for opportunity’ to be at the 2017 Africa Cup of Nations to be staged in Gabon.

“We are talking about a 6-time African Champions that missed the tournament since 2012.

“I urge the players and the technical crew to make the match in Kaduna a morale boaster, ahead of the return leg in Egypt on March 29,” he said.

The secretary of the association, Ignatius Okpara observed that the country could only have hopes of qualifying for 2017 AFCON after the two legged encounter with Egypt.

He enjoined the Eagles Interim Coach, Samson Siasia, to strive to do all within his powers to achieve victory, even if it meant a 1-0 win from each of the two legs — home and away.

“We have been looking forward to this match as this will determine if Nigeria will qualify or not; so the players do not need to toy with the match.

“I want the Eagles to win the two legs but I am not among the players, who will be expected accomplish the job”.

Treasurer of the association, Franky Omokhua said he felt disappointed when the failed to secure the slot to be at 2015 edition of AFCON. “I do not want a repeat of the 2015.

“I will want the players to go all out against the Egyptians and do their job the normal way they are used to ensuring victories at their various clubs.

“Egypt is beatable and with the right frame of mind and determination, Nigeria will smile at last.

“Players like, Victor Moses, Mikel Obi, Ahmed Musa, Odion Ighalo should defeat any team in the world,’’ Omokhua said.

He urged all, to play their roles properly to ensure the country’s victory.

I miss sex - Thinking of having sex with my BOSS!

Since my husband had an operation for his prostate cancer, he has not been able to perform. Now our sex life is non-existent. He asked me a few times if I missed sex and I always reassured him I don’t.

I am in my thirties and have three lovely children. Recently, a new manager joined the firm I work with and we’ve become great friends. He is married too. In one of our discussions, I told him about my husband and he was sympathetic. He told me that until my husband is able to make love to me again, he wouldn’t mind to be a substitute. He is quite good looking and I miss sex. Should I grab this convenient offer?

Revenge sex could backfire!

REVENGE sex—done purely to get back at someone who’s hurt you—rarely pays off even though it sounds great in theory. Your partner cheated on you; why not get your own back by cheating on them so they can see how it feels to get hurt? Deolu found out the hard way that bonking other women because his girlfriend hurt him brought him a lot of misery. “It put me into an awful situation and I don’t know how to get out of it”, he admitted.

‘Adult nursing’: Men who compete with babies over breast milk!

A couple of years back, when I first learnt of ‘adult nursing’ I was greatly amused. Was there no depth these men would not sink in their fixation with boobs? Now they’d carried it off to a ridiculous extent. (Adult nursing) is the term used for men who enjoy being breastfed by a nursing mother! According to James, one of these rare (is it really rare, I wonder) breed of men: “I once tried adult nursing with my ex-girlfriend and loved the intimacy and comfort it gave me. I sought this woman who offered her milk for a fee, out to experience the same feeding. I know adult nursing is often sexual but I personally don’t get a sexual thrill from it. … “
